Google Images

Google Images is a search service owned by Google that allows users to search the World Wide Web for image content. It was introduced on July 12, 2001 due to a demand for pictures of Jennifer Lopez's green Versace dress that the regular Google search couldn't handle  Wikipedia

images.google.com

Search by Image

You most likely think of searching on Google with words, but did you know that you can search via picture on Google Images? Since we know that the images you want to search with come from different places on the web and your computer, there are four ways to Search by Image:
  1. If you have an image you've found on the web or your computer, drag and drop an image into the search box.
  2. When you have an image saved to your computer, click the camera icon, select “Upload an image” and pick the image you'd like to use.
  3. Say you see an image on the web and you want to know more. Just right-click the image to copy the URL. On Google Images, click the camera icon and “Paste image URL.”
  4. Download the Chrome (http://goo.gl/10JdV) or Firefox (http://goo.gl/cnDpw) extension, which allows you to right-click an image on the web and immediately search on Google Images.
