Hiroshima University Hiroshima, Japan The INU Student Seminar on Global Citizenship-Peace 2009 What is a Global Citizen? The Master’s Summer School on the theme of Global Citizenship was an opportunity for INU students at masters’ level to meet, listen to, discuss and produce written works with academics and other master’s students from different INU universities. In addition to academics, the Master’s Summer School included a two day long Cultural Program in Hiroshima City where participants listened to the personal account from an Atomic Bomb Survivor, visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and on the morning of the 6th of August attended through special entry, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony. The program was attended by 69 students and 15 Facilitators and Staff from all corners of the world.
